Arúnval
Double reed essential for producing the characteristic sound of the bassoon. Included in the beginner pack for first-level students.
El Mundo Fagotero rating
The double reed is what produces the sound of the bassoon, and choosing a suitable strength makes the first steps much easier. This Arúnval student reed, in soft strength, is usually a good option for beginners at elementary level.
Like any commercial reed, it may need a small adjustment, and it is worth having a spare.
